Jamie and Atwood embraced everything that makes an elopement in Tofino so special: freedom, adventure, and intentionality. They booked an oceanfront cabin at the Pacific Sands Beach Resort and kept their ceremony intimate, sharing the day only with their closest loved ones. Instead of a first dance, they shared a “first surf” together along Cox Bay Beach. This playful, personal choice reflected their love of the ocean and set the tone for the rest of the day.

Even their attire carried sentimental value. Jamie wore her mother-in-law’s wedding dress (lovingly altered by Theresa Chen) and repurposed fabric scraps into mom’s hairpiece and dad’s boutonnière. To make the day even more meaningful, they chose to wed on the same date as Atwood’s parents’ anniversary. Every detail of this day was thoughtfully considered from start to finish!
